Experience a guided Melukat Ceremony, the sacred Balinese Water Purification Ceremony, at Pesiraman Temple. Cleanse your body, mind, and spirit in the temple’s holy spring water, guided by an expert who will lead you through each ritual with deep cultural insight.
Pesiraman Temple or Pesiraman Dalem Pingit Sebatu was discovered by accident in 2007 when a foreign tourist bathed in the sacred waterfall. After the bath, the water turned murky, washing away negative influences from their body. This surprising event led to rumors that the site held spiritual power. Word quickly spread, and the villagers recognized the area’s sacred significance. Today, Pesiraman Dalem Pingit Sebatu is known as a powerful site for the Melukat Ceremony, where people come to cleanse their body, mind, and soul in its healing waters.
This experience is limited to the Melukat Ceremony only. It does not include other spiritual practices you may expect, such as palm reading, healing consultations, or sessions with a shaman. Other spiritual experiences as such are not available on site.
This experience takes place at Pesiraman Dalem Pingit Sebatu Temple and is carried out in English. The full program, including the temple tour, normally lasts around 60 minutes from start to finish. Please note that Pesiraman Temple is considered a small temple. We are not certain whether the short temple visit and looking around during your Melukat Ceremony can be regarded as a full temple tour.
